A little bit later than usual this week … we’ve had a fabulous singing competition here in the UK. A treasure trove of riches which will surely be displayed world-wide in the future. Have a browse through some of my latests posts to see what joy we have had. I only wish more of you from other countries could share it.

OK. I know there is not a single white shirt on view this week – but how about a white dress?

I was inspired to use this image after reading Tha Dieu’s post on Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algerei where she offers several different versions of  ”Ai Capricci della Sorte” Why not head over there and have a listen?

Anyway, here we see a fabulously colourful photo of  Frau Kasarova as Isabella in a scene from that opera. The production was at the Teatro Real de Madrid in 2009. The scene is so delightfully bizarre that it cries out for some of your Clever Captions. Go on …  let’s all share a smile, or a chuckle!   ….  Suggestions in the comment box please.
